Desann, good fight though.

Yeah, Desann's performance against Luke is more impressive than anything Koon's done.

He's just more impressive in general. Clearly beastly physicals and lightsaber skills judging from his battles with Luke and Katarn, and even prior to his powers being amplified he possessed respectable TK. I wouldn't be surprised if he also wasn't just as well versed in the esoteric, given his impressive illusion feats.
