IF fox holds the rights for the original 1977 film Star Wars (no new hope or IV ) does that mean we will never see the UOT till 2020 ? if this 1977 print does exist can it be remaster or is it too damaged ?

Nobody knows. But I would be very surprised if they really altered the negatives. That would be so... DUMB! And unnecessary.
