HulkIsHulk
MCU Loki faces off against Ares from Wrath of the Titans. Loki is armed with a mace made from the same materials as Gungnir and his scepter in Avengers while Ares has his warhammer. They have no other weapons. They are not allowed to use energy attacks or any other powers. Strictly strength, skills and the weapons they are armed with. Fight takes place outside of Tartarus

He may not have many but he does have some

In the above video, at 0:05, Ares lands with such force that he generates a shockwave but he isn't hurt at all.
He shows some small but nice reflexes and skill at 0:24 as well
At 1:53 he catches a sword by its blade no problem
At 0:54, he smiles off a punch from Perseus. At at 2:11, Perseus charges him to no effect
At 2:46 he is smacked by Agenor using Poseidon's trident's blunt side when distracted by Hephaestus but quickly recovers

In the above video Ares get a karate-chop to the throat by Hades but is barely, if at all hurt
fvED_cENrQw
In the above video at at 1:43 he stops Hades two handed attack with one hand. Then at 1:50 he falls like more than a hundred feet and doesn't even react as much as an ordinary person who'tripped and fell
vtcVr9hLxGU
At 1:39 in the above video Ares gets headbutted by Perseus to zero effect. And at 2:07 he gets smacked in the face twice by Perseus using a rock but recovers instantly and punishes Perseus for it
I guess you can understand why the jumps and falls were impressive. As to why getting hit by all those above mentioned characters are impressive? Observe:

For explaning the videos that do not involve Ares
The Makhai
In the eighth video Persus army vs Kronos army, you can see how strong and durable the Makhai are. They arrive at 0:43 with a nice fall which they tank, and at 0:45 one them smashes through the wooden spikes barricade. At 1:11, a sodier throws an axe at one of the Makhai but its barely slowed down. At 1:23 an explosion kills two Makahi at the dead centre but the ones at the edge shake it off and one of them does a decent leap as well and gets impaled on a wooden spike but needed a final swipe from Agenor's sword to finish it off. At 1:40, another soldier takes a swipe at a Makhai with his sword but it doesn't even register it as an annoyance. From 1:40 onwards you can see a Makhai smashing through several soldiers holding up their shields like they were nothing at considerable speeds. At 1:50 it impales, lifts and throws a soldier easily with one hand while nigh-simultaneously flipping another soldier over its shoulder. At 1:56 it easily lifts a soldier with one hand with out slowing down and then punches him out. And then at 1:58 it hammer tosses another soldier while slashing another one in the same move
Perseus
Perseus has considerable strength and durability showings in this movie, which makes it even more impressive how Ares totally dominated him in their fights
Perseus vs Chimera
As you can see in the fourth video at 0:10, the Chimera is durable fall from great heights, creating respectably deep pit, its tail easily and swiftly knocking people in, and its strong enough to dig through the ground at high speeds as seen at 0:47, strong enough to smash through brick walls as seen at 1:27, 2:31, 2:36, 2:50, 3:14 and 3:55 (doubles as a durability feat), is able to shrug of being stabbed multiple times as seen at 1:59, and carry off Perseus while charging as if he's an insect at 3:12 and smash through a wall with him, pull out hammered in pistons at 3:45 and drag Perseus like nothing at 3:49 along with smashing through another wall while dragging him.
Yet Perseus shrugs of being smashed through a brick wall like nothing at 3:14, has no serious damage after being dragged along the ground at high speed and getting smashed through another wall, hurts the creature along with driving his sword deep into the ground with a double axe handle at 4:08, and holding it down long enough using chains and his strength while lying on his back till it is angry enough to breath fire on him and burn itself from 4:15 till the end of the video
Perseus vs Cyclops
The Cyclopses are nearly 40 feet tall giants, strong enough to casually carry large trees in their hands as staffs as seen at 0:22, and destroy other trees by smacking them with their tree-staffs, as seen at 0:53-0:56 and 1:08, one-hit ko/kill normal humans at 0:42, smash stone blocks at 0:48, crush trees by stomping on them as seen at 0:58, wield a comparatively large hammer at 2:04, and yet at 2:06 and 2:17 Perseus temporarily holds his own against one of them in strength, neither getting crushed nor

letting him get away by impaling and pinning the giant's hands with hsi sword. He may have got help from two normal humans at 2:19, but its still impressive, and he

did hold him there onw his own till the others could come to help, and whiel they were helping he still managed to hold the giant two hands with one of his for some

time. And the while giant overpowered them eventually, it is worth to note that the giant first overpowered one of the other humans before lifting Perseus who had lost

his leverage. Perseus's own weight played no part in this, and to hammer that point home we can see an aged and thin Cyclops holding up Agenor easily in one hand,

who is a demi-god like Perseus and is similar in size
Perseus vs Minotaur
This creature is pretty fast and stealthy, and larger than Perseus, and easily carries him off while charging/bullrushing at him, knocks him high into the air and as seen at

0:25 hoists him easily before throwing him with one-hand to a respectable distance also cracking the stone pillar that Perseus smashes onto, and its horns impale the

ground at 0:34 with just the force of bending down fast at Perseus. At 1:05, when Persues directs his charge his horns actually go into the pillar and get stuck. A clearly

superhuman creature, atleast in strength, Perseus takes several hits from him. And when he has him where he wants him at 1:07, Peseus punches him five times,

breaking off its horn, before pulling it out (something which the creature couldn't do), and stabbing it to death with it
Perseus vs Zeus bindings
At 3:20 in the third video, he tries to pry open a heated rock at Zeus's feet, and some fiery material jumps out. Perseus is hurt but there is no serious damages or burns.

And at 3:24 Andromeda tries to break Zeus's bindings but striking at it with her sword's sharp side with no effect (remember she later decapitated both heads of a

Makahi with one swing each with the same sword) but Perseus smashes them in one hit with the retracted trident handle
Hades
At 1:34 in the ninth video he easily stabs and hoists a Makhai with an ordinary spear before throwing him away. So Ares basically no-selling his attacks is impressive as

well
Agenor
At 0:04 in the third video a decent sized rock gets crushed easily by one of the closing-in walls at Tartarus. At 0:16, Andromeda gets trapped by one of the walls and is

about to get crushed, and Perseus is unable to stop it (even with Andromeda's insignificant help). But at 0:20, Agenor jumps in and managed to give in a hand and

pushes away the wall, and Andromeda escapes (so no help from her). Considering the strength feats Perseus shows before and after, it is quite impressive that he needed

Agenor's help, and shows that Agenor has significant strength himself as well. So Ares took a hit form another considerably strong demi-god and shrugged it off. There

is one more thing that makes it even more impressive, which is that it was done with Poseidon's trident, which I will cover below
The godly weapons
The godly weapon gives Ares an extra benefit of boosting his striking power more than a similar weapon would.
At 2:44 of the third video, Perseus tries to use the Poseidon's trident to break the rock at Zeus's feet but fails. Then he realizes at 3:00, with Zeus's advice, that he can

channel more of his godly power into the weapon for more damage
At 0:23 in the tenth, second last video, you can see Agenor using the power of the trident
In the second video, you can see Zeus taking six punches from an angry Ares, punches that were strong enough generate shockwaves. And that was a weakened Zeus

who was having his powers drained by Kronos. And in the third video, a highly weakened Zeus gets impaled by Hades's trident thrown from quite a distance and force

at 4:22 and still stays conscious for quite some time after it gets pulled out And in the final, eleventh video Poseidon takes an attack from the Makhai at 2:54 which

mortally wounds him and he eventually dies from the injury, but Zeus takes a similar hit at 2:39 and is no worse for the wear. Zeus is pretty strong as you can see in the

ninth, i.e., third last video at 1:27 he just casually bitchslaps out a Makhai like its nothing, and at 1:33 smacks another Makhai a decent distance and at 1:39 stabs and

easily pushes back another Makhai before Hades blasts it. So Zeus is pretty strong and durable yet Ares breaks out his warhammer and KOs a practically fresh Zeus with

three hits at 3:01. So not only does Ares have considerable strength and durability, he also gets the advantage of having a weapon he can channel more of his godly

power for extra damage
It alos makes him shrugging off a hit from Agenor using Poseidon's trident even more impressive, since he was hit with a weapon that can magically amp one's striking

power more than a similar weapon would.

Ares' durability is all good and well, but do you think he could seriously hurt Loki, given Loki's own durability showings? It literally took the Hulk wailing on him to cause actual visible injuries, and even then Loki was down, but still conscious.

Don't you think that is extrapolating it too much? Both Loki and Ares are in the same range, and coupled with his mace (which considerably amps his striking power) and his skill, I believe Ares can take him down. Most of Loki's fights with similar opponents had him with a bladed weapon, which he doesn't have here. I will soon cover Ares' strength feats in the next post. Hope that I won't become this boards next Khanchi.

ShadowFyre
Good point on weapons Hulk. Loki actually has better h2h skills though I think.

HulkIsHulk
Ares strength, skill and reflex feats

A triplefold strength, reflexes and skill feat. At 0:24 in the first video, he easily catches an axe thrown at him by a soldier from behind without even looking before throwing it at another soldier in another direction behind him, launching the soldier quite some distance when he's hit and through the edges of a stone pillar, also without looking
Then at 0:26 he outmaneuvers the soldier trying to stab him from behind, stabs him with his own knife, then casually lifts him up with one hand before throwing him away
At 1:12 in the first video, another soldier attcks him with a sword, but he outfights him, swiftly knocking the guy's sword donwards wit hhis own blade and then slashing his opponent's throat, stabbing him before dealing the finishing blows with his warhammer
At 1:34, when Perseus tries to get past him by jumping over his hammer strike, Ares spins around and nails him square in the chest, taking him out of the fight till 2:05 before swiftly turning around and smacking the attacking Agenor. Agenor tries to block with Poseidon's trident but is send flying and hits a stone column behind him, breaking it into several pieces. More impressive considering Agenor's own strength
At 1:53, Andromeda tries to stab him with her sword, but he just catches it and sends her spiraling by hitting her with the sword handle
At 2:10, Ares gives Perseus a light slap, making Perseus see stars before throwing him through a stone pillar at 2:16 quite some distance, again taking him out of the fight till 2:41
At 2:39, Ares casually grabs and neck-lifts the charging Hephaestus before swiftly choking him out for a temp KO
In the second video, starting at 0:20 Ares punches Zeus so hard that it causes shockwaves, multiple times
In the third video, at 1:17, Ares smacks Hades in the legs with his warhammer and then knocks him down with another hit at 1:21 despite Hades blocking it with his bident, taking the fight out of him till 1:40, and despite Hades knocking him off balance while distracted, Ares easily blocks a strike from Hades' bident with his forearm at 1:44. The fall they take seconds is not only an nice durability feat for Ares but a decent one for Hades as well, making Ares stunning him slightly more impressive
At 3:36 Ares does a nice leap and again smashes Agenor into some rocks and breaks them despite Agenor trying to block it, again
At 3:45, Ares slams his warhammer onto his ground with such force that it sends the charging Andromeda flying quite some distance towards Perseus with such force that Perseus, who has some decent strength feats himself, is also knocked down and barely stops her flight
After getting knocked down when Hades attacks him from behind, Ares dodges a bident stab at 4:10 before wrestling away the weapon. Then at 4:16 he throws the bident a considerable distance with pinpoint precision to impale Zeus in the back
In the fourth video, at 1:30 while fighting Perseus, both brothers have a short duel-wielding battle. Ares swiftly disarms his opponent of both weapons, drops his weapons and then catches both of Perseus's wrists when he attempts to stab him and easily holds him down at 1:38, from which Perseus in unable to break free with either brute strength or an ineffective headbutt, after which Ares twists his arms, knees him in the adomen, grabs him by the throat and suplexes him
Ares then proceeds to beat the holy hell out Perseus with his bare hands. Higlights include
A left hook that makes Perseus head hit against a nearby stone pillar, breaking pieces off it at 1:54
When Perseus tries to take Zeus thunderbolt from his belt, Ares twists his arm and easily smashes Perseus through atleast 3 massive stone pillars, causing them to collapse at 2:11
Casually dragging Perseus at 2:24 before laying his head on the corner of a stone tablet, then hitting his head so hard that the corner breaks off
Kicking Perseus so hard that it cracked the stone tablet behind him at 2:58
At 3:26 he casually leaps some distance
At 3:42 he gets stabbed by Perseus in the heart and gets choked by him but still runs into some pillars with enough force to crack them
Again pointing out that he three-shotted Zeus in the last video with his warhammer, who has some considerable durability feats, to show how much his warhammer enhances his striking power
To further points out how the godly energies can boost a weapon, in the first video at 2:26 Hephastaeus charges his godly energies into his .staff to hold open the closing stone doors of Tartarus/labyrinth.

HulkIsHulk
It should also be considered that while Ares bare fists have quite the striking power, in their final fight, Ares' punches never managed to keep down Perseus for very long (though points have to be given for Perseus determination, and it should also be considered that Ares wanted him to suffer), but one hit from his mace kept Perseus down, if not out, for a considerable amount of time. That alone should tell you how much it amps his striking power

He has his warhammer, but no other, as that would make the fight unfair. Tbf, either side having more of their other weapons would make this fight a total wildcard and make it who shot who first. Loki destroys ares with blatszzzz. Ares fries Loki with thunderboltzzz. Loki mindhwammies Ares. Ares calls upon Chimeras. Loki calls upon illusions. Ares splitz the ground with Hades trident. Loki stab Ares, Ares stab Loki. This way things would be more objective

HulkIsHulk
Also, in the Perseus vs Minotaur fight, the creature's horn, which was durable enough to cut through rock pretty easily, was broken by Perseus's punches which never directly hit the horn, and Perseus casually pulled out the piece of the horn stuck in the wall while the superhuman Minotaur was unable to
