Yea... this is Disney, they are not going to care for such a little thing, especially when they have a *fantastically* successful movie/new continuity.


They could, eventually, perhaps decide to do more Legends stuff, but it would be against their interests to present the old EU while trying to forge their own continuity. If they did so, it'd be a bad move to do it now.

Yea. EU Luke has had every problem TFA Luke had (including the death of his early students.. though only two of the early ones at a time he had 3), just in more cycles.

The EU is dead. It died a long time ago (2008) when The Clone Wars came out. Its pointless to try and save something that has been gone for years.

There was some pretty darn good post-08 stuff in the EU. Legacy 2 didn't end all that long ago.


Still, it *is* done. The novels hit an ok end point. The comics a better one.
