It wasn't explicitly stated but he certainly was, with no real question in my mind. I mean, he's clearly massively faster and stronger than fairly peak-human high tier martial artists like Connor Hawk. He can hold people far bigger than him with one hand, move too quick to react, and an explosions caused only minor damage to him.
