Someone that isn't there from the start, or all the time, but is so awesome they could have their own show/series/comic.
I vote Nat the hat from the Hitman comics. He was by far the most interesting besides Tommy, and the only one who felt "real".
The guy was right there at the end with Monaghan, and had no reason at all to throw his life away against impossible odds, except to support his friend.
