He only lost to Ren due to CIS. The same way Maul lost to Obi due to CIS.

He pushed Obi Wan as well. Either he pushed him twice or he pushed ObI wan and Qui Gon... and he did these in the middle of a fight.

As to how he beats Kylo, he just cuts him in half with a lightsaber.

As previously mentioned, Kylo never really used his force powers on someone trained with the force, so we don't know if it will actually work on a full sith or jedi. Maul on the other hand has used his force powers while battling two jedi.

TCW is Canon. Maul has some mean Tk feats in that show.

He was the best part of the movie. Really what else was there?

The movie was about him and Fin. So if you throw him out, you got fin. thats fine and all but if thats how you want to roll go ahead.

Maul had zero stage presence other being ugly. And had no story based on him really.

be that as it may, he had a HORRIBLE showing against two people that shouldn't even be in the league below him let alone his supposed elite fighting tier, hence the landslide votes for anyone from the PT against this sorry sunofabitch

He toyed with Fin after being severely hurt. And Rey had uber force and was PIS/CIS

He made for an overexposed and ineffectual villain. Even after devoting that much time to Kylo they still felt the need to "level him up" between movies. They pretty much wrote themselves into a corner.

Kylo, Rey, and Finn will improve as the series goes. Kylo just wasn't a polished and in control villain like Maul.
