I didn't spot a thread for it, so decided to make one. I watched it a short while back and found it to be pretty enjoyable. It has a very similar feel to shows like Vikings, and is also focused on the period of Viking conquest in Britain. The show has a central protagonist with his own main plot, but you are also given an insight into the politics and conflicts occurring at the time. It's basically the show The Bastard Executioner tried (and failed miserably) to be.

I liked the first season, and it has been renewed for a second one.
