Exar Kun and Krayt both have really high tier feats/accolades to their name. However Krayt is supposedly a Niman master, but he seems to only utilize its aspects of chaining Force techniques and uses it as a gateway to Jar'kai dual blade fencing. Comparatively Exar Kun took Form VI to the highest degreend evolved the form into a true swordsman's style.

Furthermore, Krayt's use of Niman as a gateway into Jar'kai isn't going to afford him any kind of benefit against Exar Kun, whom has shown his own proficiency with the dual-bladed stance when he defeated Vodo Siosk-Baas. Comparatively Exar Kun uses an entirely unique style that relies on (yeh I'm gonna say it) unpredictability and precognition.

In raw skill and talent we have two of the very best, but Exar Kun has advantages that Krayt just doesn't.

Physically, they are both beasts that do not tire, can take hits and have excessive speed/strength. So they are equals in that regard as well.

Exar Kun is the most likely victor in an excessively drawn out contest.

Ulic Qel-Droma against Arcann is basically predicated on how good the Hero of Tython is, because that is Arcann's major skill feat. I personaly can't see the Hero of Tython being above Ulic in any manner.

Ulic Qel-Droma's skills are above everybody else bar Exar Kun in his time, he's a prodigal fighter, capable of blitzing five Krath Warriors(Force sensitives) before dancing around and easily defeating a master of the Dark Side and excellent swordsmaster in Warb Null. All of that on a Dark Side nexus that was draining him, all years before his prime when he gained 'tremendous Dark Side powers'.

He's easily above the likes of Arca Jeth, Vodo, Nomi, Cay, Tott and Sylvar as a swordsman.

Even 13 years out of his prime, potentially wounded, and without any Force imbued physicals, precog or senses to benefit him, he was holding off an enraged Sylvar. Sylvar whom could easily slaughter an entire nest of Killiks, and had enough strength 15 years before her prime to produce blade clashes with Kun strong enough to be heard from kilometers away. Most impressive is the fact that Sylvar was imperciptibly fast to the Force imbued senses of prime Nomi Sunrider. Despite that Ulic hed her off just fine, even though he was relying on a purely defensive stance, contradictory to his Form V: Djem So mastery.

Yeh I'd back him over Arcann.

Most important is the fact that Kun and Qel-Droma share a master-apprentice bond and have team experience. Arcann and Krayt however lived thousands of years apart.
