Scoobless
Garfield Spidey

Both have basic knowledge of each other, YJ has been hired to kill Spider-Man.

Interesting contrast of powers

Speed / Shrinking
Webs / Lasers
Jumping / Flying

NY city streets.

KingD19
YJ probably wins. While it's True Spidey has him outclassed pretty much everywhere, until we see proof he can see someone Yellow Jacket's size and stop him from getting inside his body and lasering the shit out of him, I don't see how he can win if he immediately shrinks.

NotAllThatEvil
Spidey sense?

Time-Immemorial
Spidersense will sense incoming danger.

This is the most powerful spiderman.

Spiderman wins but it will be a hard fight.

FrothByte
Spider sense senses incoming danger but it won't pinpoint YJ's location. YJ wins.

Most powerful Spier-Man?

You mean Japanese Spider Man?

golem370
IMO (tobey) Super-Man was the most powerful.

It could go either way, and its dependent on whether Garfield can spot him. If he does, he gets webbed and/or stomped, and he wont be able to handle one hit from Spidey. If not, Spidey is screwed.

Still, Garfield had the awareness to be able to flip between bullets from a minigun. I feel like he would be able to spot YJ for at least 6/10.

Japanese Spiderman fought off Godzilla like monsters on a regular.

Why have we not been using that beast in versus battles?

He's glorious.

TheVaultDweller
I'd go for Spiderman here. Even as a noob, he was easily dodging point blank gunfire during the carjacking scene from ASM1. Also, remember the ridiculous spider-sense, slow-mo, stairwell scene from ASM2. If he has that level of speed and awareness (because he was pulling multiple civilians from danger), I really don't see Yellowjacket giving him any surprises. And even if Yellowjacket can hit him, Garfield Spidey can casually tank getting hit by speeding vehicles, took a whole city's power surging through his body, and even if he gets hurt has an enhanced healing factor (which was a major plot point in the 2nd film).

On the flip side, I doubt Yellowjacket could take a lot of Spidey's hits. Not to mention he was kind of a crazy idiot, so he isn't exactly the most tactical fighter either. I could easily see Garfield Spidey trash talk him and cause him to lose his temper and do something stupid. I'd give Spiderman a solid majority here.

Utrigita
Tobey also in the first movie was capable of sensing, a flue and a paperball leaving a straw. With that in mind I highly doubt YJ is going to get the jump on him.

Dweller mentioned the scene from ASM2 above, so no reason to do so here.

Spiderman wins.

His spider sense can also detect danger from 3 kilometers away AT LEAST.
