They can't be revived which character would you most like dead in dragonball.

Gohan is the obvious answer in my opinion

Goku and Vegeta. Let someone else have the spotlight you greedy bastards

Gohan is the only death I could see having a lasting impact. Goku and vegeta have been dead for lengths of time and everybody just moves on

I would actually really like it if all the human fighters went out with one last hurrah. Most of them aren't really doing anything with their lives.

Kill Chichi. That would effect the whole series, especially Goku if done right. It would force Goku to see that he is a bad father, and outside of fighting he's pretty much useless.

Now he's actually force to raise Goten and be part of his life, and not just run off and train when ever he pleases. Also make it Gokus fault that Chichi died, and both Gohan and Goten kinda resents him for it.

Hmm or kill goten and have goku be the reason he died. I'm not sure goku could deal with either scenario

Vegeta literally never gets the spotlight. They always tease like he will be the hero for once or they are going to let him defeat anyone of significance then...nope lol.
Look at the recent Freiza fight.
Sure they let him become a SSJ blue god but its probably just to keep Goku company till Goku saves the day again.

Kill Goku and let Vegeta beat up all the upcomming villains....biscuits

Now that's just silly. True he isn't the main hero but he gets more of a spotlight than literally anyone else not named Goku. Gohan was poised to take over the series and surpassed Vegeta like he was nothing yet who was it in the final battle against Buu? Who came up with the idea to beat Buu? Who was instrumental in Buu being released in the first place or Cell becoming Perfect? Or about a dozen other thing man. Vegeta gets wanked hard... Not as hard as Goku of course but they both should move aside

Anyways Goku is above the dragon balls, even if he dies, he never really dies.

He can even come back with IT, even while dead

As long as Goku is alive, the plot revolves around him, which gets old.

It'd be better if they could let someone else have the spotlight... Gohan, Vegeta, etc..

Videl, and make it all Gohan's fault for not being strong enough to save her, and then add in that she wasn't actually human but a remodeled Android 16, and her sparking head tells Gohan to stop holding back, then it gets smashed by the new and improved "God of Perfection" Cell, thus pushing Gohan to another new level.

Funny true, but makes no sense what so ever plot wise.
