About Traveling to Europe.

The State Department issued a travel alert for all of Europe following Tuesday's terror attack in Brussels, and warned that "terrorist groups continue to plan near-term attacks throughout Europe."

Wow..

Don't want us spreading any American Values to them over in their LIBERAL Socialist Dictatorships?

I don't think they need to worry about that anymore.

I think the State Department is being extra cautious with this one. By issuing the warning, if something happens the State Department will point to the warning and say "well, we told you so."

I don't know if they actually believe another attack is imminent (though it could be).

When was the last time the state department told americans to be cautious when going to Europe?

I think you forgot in Paris 11/13/15, no travel warning was issued after.

I agree with Omega, state dep't is just being cautious.

Its not about being right or wrong.

Why would they issue one after Brussels and not Paris?

We have just found a complex organized terrorist cell on the streets of the EU capital..

They were organized, funded, they even had safe houses

That is true, if they are doing this just to be cautious why weren't they cautious back then?

Probably because the Paris Attack was the first major terrorist attack in a European capital in quite a while, while the Brussels incident was a repeat incident. Now that there have been two major attacks within less than six months it's not just a one-off thing.

This seems plausible, but I just can't help thinking that I wouldn't of thought that the Paris thing was a one time thing, I would of thought it was just the beginning..because why wouldn't it be?

So if "they" don't believe another attack is imminent, why is it all over the news that there are other imminent attacks planned?
