Doom gets a new gorilla skin rug.

Badabing
In the MCU, the answer is Doom.

EcstaticGrace
Does Doom have the telepathy feat resistance he'd need?

To what level? Grodd was able to keep Martian Manhunter locked in Telepathic submission.

Galan007
Doom.

Flyattractor
Doom has too much of a FanBoyAuraCheatMode going for him. That's why his character sucks so much nowadays.

I will side with Grodd cause Grodd is more fun.

krisblaze
Maybe Grodd could get on him and get in a few savage hits or wail on him with telepathy.

Either way Doom has the personal shields to weather whatever blitz Grodd can muster and the offense to take him down.

Glorificus
Doom easily.

Flyattractor
Doom should man up and take on Grodd with out his Cheat Armor.

Show us how much that "I am Doom" shctick really means.

Surtur
Doom killed a tiger without his armor, survived getting his blood turned to acid, his heart turned to stone, and then being tossed to some megalodon sharks.

DarkSaint85
Was a lion. Point still stands, though!

Surtur
Ha, yeah I remember as I posted thinking "wait was it a tiger or a lion?" but yeah, Doom is naked and kills a f*cking lion.

Okay true Grodd could also kill a lion, and okay he even did survive his blood being turned to acid, but I don't think Grodd ever had his heart turned to stone..plus f*cking sharks? Huge f*cking sharks.

Also Dr. Doom once sacrificed his girlfriend for some magic armor. True this doesn't have anything to do with the fight but..I have nothing else really to add.

Flyattractor
Yeah. It was that story arc I was thinking of when I made the comment.

And to point out. That story is HORRIBLE! Full of the kind of pandering to the Doomie FanWankers that have ruined the character.

And Grodd's biggest feats are how many times he seemingly returns from being killed in his appearances.

Based on your opinion or are there any feats to suggest this?

^^^good question.
This one's been really light on facts. stick out tongue

One Big Mob
Doom resisted Purple Man's power that was amped enough to control every hero on Earth without his helmet.

Scans?

DTM
This is true, it was in the Emperor Doom book.

DarkSaint85
Purple Man uses pheromones, rather than telepathy, though?

DarkSaint85
Classic Kingpin was boss, even though we all know fat people have no willpower:

Granted, it's a non-amped Purple Man there. I just wanted to make a fat joke.

riv6672
^^^You're allowed the occasional act of whimsey.

SamZED
laughing That was a good fat joke. You'd think Fisk would be able to resist eating the fifth donut for dinner if he can resist Kilgrave.

Doom also told Emma Frost to go F herself when she attempted to enter his mind.

What level was Killgrave on in that instance?

He was amped so his powers worked on a planetary scale.

What's the prism for? Where's the comic because I feel like Doom captured him and it went to an actual day back to regular levels for Purple Man so what's the context like?

Surtur
I think that is the thing being used to amp his powers.

Flyattractor
So should it be made clear that guys like Doom and Reed are mutants or something? Cause thiere is now way a NORMAL Human should be able to pull off his kind of tricks with out some kind of excuse.

Would it have the same effect with someone inside the dome as outside it? Why was Doom trying to amp him? I'm not trying to downplay the instance I'm just making sure I know what went down exactly so I'm not corrected by someone else if I bring it up.

It was from the Graphic Novel Emperor Doom, Its been a while but I think Doom was amping Purple Man's power so he could control the world. And I'm thinking it would have the same effect inside because a strong will has been something Doom has always had,

Appreciate it.

riv6672
Emperor Doom was a great book. I cant recall who all resisted the planetary control, though i think a few did.

Surtur
Yep, Dooms plots to take over don't always necessarily have him wanting to rule forever. He just kind of wants to make everyone look like a fool and show how superior he is, then go back to his castle in Latveria.

Also, his opinion. Which is as good as fact, tbh.

DTM
Yes, Doom built the device to augment Purple Man to take over the entire planet, and he only "lost" at the end because he was bored with the entire planet being obdient to him, so he allowed Namor to kill Purple Man, thus returning the wills to everyone.

riv6672
When you wine and dine Namor...
