BUT Pym isn't useless, far from it. His best showings IMHO are the way he's used science to quantify and counter magic. VERY few others have come anywhere near accomplishing that.

On Topic the Pymtron is massively FTL and stronger than Thor. He also has insane feats of technopathy, like seating all the Eternals and transforming their planet into a battleship that spews a citywide techno-organic virus which turns anyone who comes in contact with it to Ultron drone bodies. Not to mention Black hole generation and stabilization, the ability to both hypnotize and forcibly read minds, lasers that shut down brains (e-Ray) and even the ability to effectively spawn a near endless supply of new bodies from his own pocket dimension.
