Duel takes place in the Jedi temple training grounds on Ossus

She performed better against Vader than Baas against Kun, and her weapon is decidedly more lethal.

LOL, Baas stomps. He's older, wiser, smarter, more experienced, more skilled, more powerful in the Force, his weapon has greater range. Just better really.

Tano is good but she's no Exar Kun and that's the level of ability you need to be at to beat Baas. Plus she doesn't have the power needed to break his staff, she doesn't use an unorthodox form or weapon and her own style has a lot of problems.
