Cap can probably dodge or deflect his blasts with the shield and then stomp him in close quarters

Any of the 3 Cyclops can just take off their visor and look at Cap. The beam is too destructive and too wide for him to do much.

Cap withstood a hammer hit from Thor with his shield it is possible he could deflect the beam back at Cyclops.

I doubt he would do that in character

Well if Wolverine's claws can block Cyclops beams (Origins), then my money would be with Cap.

Cyclops was simply too heavily nerfed in the Singerverse.

Cyke gets an insta win by just taking off the visor. Cap stands no chance here.

Yeah. People seem to be forgetting that the visor is what lets him make those compact, controlled bursts. When he does a few and it doesn't work, he can just take the visor off and make everything around them red.

This! Cap isn't just gonna stand there and take a hit. Cyclops will have a hard time even hitting Cap.

And reflect Cyk's blasts back at him.

Cyclops' blast will just be shielded as Cap eventually makes his way to punching distance.

Cap wont be able to move in on Cyclops.

Those eye blasts of his have to much force to casually block and advance forward... hell a grenade launcher blast sent cap flying.

Cyclops precision with them kills any chances at cap flipping around them or trying ricochet his shield.
