oh man, 90s for sure; Batman, Jurassic Park, Beetlejuice, T2, Home Alone, Dumb and Dumber, Matrix...the list goes on and on. Even the B movies were mint.

It's xyz!
Memento, the sixth sense, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, the Simpsons movie, casino royale, Star Trek 09, Shaun of the dead, this is England, Superbad...

I mean sure, the 00s had a lot of shitty commercial movies, click, for example, but there was and is gems in the 00s.

Trocity
LOTR trilogy.

I forgot requiem for a dream, but I'd go with the 90's. I think that decade was stronger in most categories.

There are some great newer films for sure, but I am a product of the 90s. What can I say.

Don't forget Waterworld from 1995. Smack dab in the middle and highly underrated.

Speaking of the Coen Brother's, I think their BEST work is from the 90's:

Fargo
Big Lebowski
Barton Fink
Miller's Crossing

All awesome.

But yeah, I'm starting to think 90s more and more. No one has even mentioned titanic or la confidential.

Kazenji
^ Maybe because not everyone like it..............i know I've never watched Titantic and don't wish to see it.

Your list is greatly lacking to make a fair argument

Zack M
My list wasn't to be the be all end all. Just to add some from each genre.

LA Confidential was indeed awesome.

Also, another gem from the 90's; American Beauty.

Inhuman
90's

But there have been good 00's movies as well.
