You can no longer write political messages in chalk at this school because people wrote pro Trump stuff with the chalk.
So is this just crazy? Is it just me? I know people who go to this friggin school. This is just getting out of control.
Robtard
They're banning any future chalking because of "offensive, hurtful, and divisive" comments, they just happen to be coming from pro-Trump people, which isn't surprising considering some of Trump's comments and opinions during his campaign.
So no, a school shutting down a platform which allowed people to be "offensive" isn't all that surprising to me.
Surtur
Lol dude...um, you are way off. Nobody said anything offensive. People would write "Trump 2016". They are stopping people from doing that because some students find some of the stuff Trump says offensive, hurtful, etc.
This was not people saying offensive shit who happen to like Trump. They are upset because people wrote the name Trump.
So do you care to change what you just said? How does this revelation change your outlook on this?
Robtard
So here's what I read from the story, quoted:
Seems to me they were not just writing "Trump", "Go Trump 2016", "Trump for President" and the like, they were writing offensive comments, that's what the story is implying at least.
cdtm
Some of the stuff Trump says IS offensive. The man goes out of his way to offend.
I'm not judging one way or another, but Universities aren't exactly supportive of controversy. Quite the opposite, they tend to err on the side of baby proofing their environment, to make it as welcoming as possible..

Trust me dude, they were just writing Trump lol. They are saying ANY pro Trump chalking is divisive.
So now do you see how crazy this is? Because look at the way this school acts. They are acting like people wrote out hurtful messages. It's not like people were writing "Trump is right all illegals are rapists".

If someone wrote "Clinton 2016" nothing would of been done. If a few years ago someone wrote "Obama 2012" what would of happened?

That's not what the story is implying though.
If true, that is stupid of the school to ban chalking because someone just wrote "Trump". But again, the story doesn't imply that.

If you don't believe me you can look it up, it is because people are writing pro Trump things. It's not like you can leave big heartfelt political statements with chalk lol. It's for writing just his name in chalk. I am dead f*cking serious.
I mean it's usually like "Trump 2016" and a drawing or something.
One example:
http://legalinsurrection.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Chalkening-620x435.jpg
I am telling you straight up that is the jist of it. It's not like people were writing legit hate speech.

Can't edit it, but that's from the Washington Post.
Surtur
But yeah, more or less it's because they don't like things Trump has said. I agree if people were writing hate filled diatribes in chalk that would be a cause for banning it.
cdtm
Well, even universities have to heed the law of the land. That professor who tried to ban such offensive words like "Female/male" on threat of failing the class was forced to abandon that curriculum.
Not sure if chalk messages on pavement qualify as protected speech, though..
Surtur
It's just weird if someone see's a "Trump 2016" thing drawn in chalk and immediately can't tolerate it.

Says outright supporting Trump is "hate speech".

Hooooo boy, when did that one happen?
On point, I'm not at all surprised this happened. These spineless, far-left adult children are taking over academia at an alarming rate.
Surtur
Lol these poor college kids.

I hope to dear ****ing Zeus that these people will eventually grow out of it. Otherwise we're looking at a future where people dissolve into a puddle of triggered feelings the moment someone dares, for example, to express support for a political candidate they don't like.
Surtur
The problem here is how will they grow out of it if we coddle them like this? If someone can't handle seeing a name written in chalk they probably don't belong on a college campus anyways. College is about being exposed to new things and new ways of thinking, not shutting yourself off from everything you don't agree with.
These kids are acting like Trump is Lord f*cking Voldemort, you can't even say his damn name or even write it down.
snowdragon
Crybullies, I would waste my time writing trump to taste their tears.

I am banking on life giving them a nice, firm kick up the ass once they have to go out in the real world. It's not that they don't belong on college campus, it's that they don't deserve to be coddled, sheltered, or kowtowed to.
No, don't talk about he-who-must-not-be-elected! You're TRIGGERING ME!!11one!

I just think if I was so very sensitive to everything then I'd just do online courses. That way I don't have to have my delicate sensibilities offended by anyone.

I suppose that's an option, but that will keep them in their delusional little bubble for even longer.
Surtur
I just hope people continue to write messages in chalk. I want to see if the school will PUNISH someone for writing "Trump 2016".
Surtur
Or here is another example of some oversensitive people:
http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensland/qut-student-faces-200000-bill-in-facebook-post-racism-row-20160415-go7951.html
Remember this is a college that apparently has computer labs reserved for "Indigenous students".
It's nice to know it's not just colleges in America that are full of whiny overly sensitive people.
"An Indigenous woman, Ms Prior went on sick leave following the incident and reports she felt unsafe leaving her home because she was afraid somebody would say something offensive to her.
She also says she was unable to return to work in a role that required her to have face-to-face contact with white people.
Ms Prior is seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages."
lol. I have to admit I'm curious how the usual suspects here will defend this, if it gets defended at all.
HulkIsHulk
I wonder if the vandals had written in pens or pencils the university would ban pens or pencils
Surtur
If somewhere wears a Trump t-shirt do they ban shirts too?
Trump has written books, right? I sure as f*ck hope nobody brings one on campus..it'd be weird for a college to ban books. Then again would it really be weird? It seems common sense has been banned from these campuses.
Peace Keeper
They should ban liberalism. Its the antithesis of education.

This is beyond asinine. The people accused have apparently racked up $500k in legal fees for daring to speak the truth. I sincerely hope that they win and their legal fees will have to be covered by the deranged SJWs in question.
Surtur
I just love it when people f*ck with these SJW's and call them on their bullshit:
oss7KmiHLmA
Whiny little dickbags who just live to be offended.
"cause I'm not your gender studies professor who has to cater to your trigger warning micro-agression safe space bullshit"
Awesome, just awesome.

This video just needs to be played at..pretty much every college campus in America. I mean holy shit there is a thing called "The Triggering" now lol.
Poor wittle college kids, life is so hard. Those student loans are a b*tch. I'd rather go fight in Vietnam.
Ha wait no not at all, I wouldn't rather do anything close to that because it is insane and it would be insane to act like I'm super troubled if the worst thing I have to deal with is student loans. No wonder college kids are soooo rapey these days, it's just this unsung burden they have to carry...it can make you nuts. These kids have the weight of the world on their shoulders..don't you understand?
Flyattractor
My fave part was when the SJW Twerp tossed out the Racist remark. Load Lock , Aim and FIRE Crowder.
Surtur
Lol I see SJW's now whining that people think the new Ghostbusters movie is going to be terrible. The trailer got over 500k dislikes on youtube lol and some people are just squawking that it's only due to misogyny and not because the movie looks f*cking awful and the cast really were never that funny to begin with.
Apparently no other movie trailer has ever had so many dislikes on youtube, so it MUST be misogyny I guess. Which means they basically have made themselves bulletproof, if the movie bombs they can just blame misogyny.
If it was somehow possible to become immortal by bathing in the tears of SJW's then I'd be able to outlive the universe itself...just from all the tears I collected this year, and we're only 5 months into the year lol.
Surtur
Okay these SJW's are legit forms of entertainment now. I'm hooked:
XwM-MZjYof8
This is better then Jerry Springer. Milo Yiannopoulos is more or less going around the country making college kids cry lol. Boy this is hilarious while at the same time making our country look really really f*cking awful. Wait now I'm kind of depressed. Hold on..
kLHMhQIk2vY
Okay that cheered me back up.
ArtificialGlory
Is that Honey Boo Boo all grown up?
Surtur
Notice how just that little bit of activity pretty much nearly gave her a heart attack lol. Milo is doing her a favor, he is getting her to exercise.
