Duel takes place on neutral ground

Who wins?

XSUPREMEXSKILLZ
Revan pretty solidly if only the force is involved.

The Ellimist
Does the battlefield have lots of couches and tents?

carthage
who takes this

The Ellimist
Bane

DarthAnt66
Revan fairly easily. Given his durability is directly tied with his willpower, which is on par with only the greatest of the greats, he's going to easily be able to handle anything Darth Bane has to offer, and then will proceed to dominate him with powers that completely overwhelmed the Darth Marr, Satele Shan, and Lana Beniko trio. In no possible scenario could Darth Bane win.

EDIT: That is, unless the battle takes place under the conditions The_Ellimist described, in which I'm not sure.

The Ellimist
Bane was able to resist powerful telepaths like Kaan, who has Revan resisted that has as many good feats as Kaan?

DarthAnt66
He may have resisted the mind trick of a young Sith acolyte on Dreshdae.

Syndicate
A great analysis Ant. Bane could never hope to comprehend the power of Revan.

That was stated in the first novel of the trilogy, yeah.

Zzzz...

:3 Wasn't that PoD Bane though? Doesn't DoE grow enormously in power as he shows in his powerscaling arguments?

TBH the best case for wanking Bane is to extrapolate from his ridiculous growth curve in PoD and combine that with the RoT Bane > Lehon Bane implications (something like him saying that he's stronger than he's ever felt, or whatever).

in Emperor's power scaling arguments*

carthage
Who wins this DMB?

The quotes read that Darth Bane "doubted he would ever dare to use them," even if he became a "true Sith master," referring to the present and future.

This appears to have come true since we never heard of Darth Bane completing any ritual of Revan's besides two - and one of those he ran away from.

Syndicate
Very true.

Can Revan withstand Bane's lightning?

The Ellimist
I'm getting real sick of you and your f*cking Bane trolling, Dickage. The manner in which you are treating one of the dominating characters not only of the Star Wars mythos, but of all of fiction, and moreso, one of the great literary inventions in the course of human events is absolutely sickening. You are a carthage indeed, a carthage on the hearts, minds, and souls of all true Star Wars fans that have given their time, money, energy and humanity to this great endevaor.

Darth Bane has shown enormous amounts of power throughout his three literary classics. He has easily crushed Qordis, one of the strongest sith of the Brotherhood, without even having to draw his lightsaber. He toys with and effortlessly eviscerates Sirak, who has some of the best sparring feats with training sticks against apprentices in the mythos and who was able to generate a few sparks of lightning after only a few decades of private instruction. With just a dark side nexus and some time to charge his attack, Bane can knock down the foundations of a 3000 year old temple. His powers, of course, grow exponentially throughout his story, eventually getting to the point where he can crush mercenaries and gang members with ease, and almost overwhelm the Force defenses of assassins that are as strong as the best Jedi padawans. To cap it off, Bane has been more than capable of crushing boxes, disassembling tents, crushing soldiers, and throwing couches with his use of telekinesis. He is also almost as strong as Palpatine, being canonically weaker by only 30 generations of steady power progressions.

Bane would crush Revan like the insignificant pest that he is.

This thread pleases me.

What if Bane studies Nadds holocron?
