Which deity truly deserves dominion over mankind? Fight takes place in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Odin holds dominion over a race of beings not only more powerful on average than humans, but more technologically advanced.

But yeah, he squeezes GEoM's head like a grape.

The Emperor was nearly strangled by a really big Ork, Odin can easily manhandle Thor, who can shatter worlds with the force of his blows.

Odin can fly from one side of the universe to the next while fighting another Skyfather, the Emperor can't even manufacture starships that can leave the galaxy and reach the next one in a timely fashion.

God Emperor of Mankind(W40k) vs Odin(Marvel I'm assuming)

Odin rules the Asgardians, who are on average much more powerful than humans, have tech surpassing them, magic, psuedo-immortality, etc... He has fights with beings that wouldn't even register GEoM as a blip on their radar. Guys a few levels below Odin would stomp Emperor.

On accident Odin was destroying worlds and galaxies because he was expending so much energy in a fight with another Skyfather, while like Neme said hurtling across the universe with ease.

What of the GEoM's supposed ability to hold back the Chaos Gods, who are apparently universal/multiversal?

Sounds like a lot of hearsay.

While Odin has fought evenly and overpowered beings explicitly on that level of power and higher.

All we'd have to do is compare feats. Odin has a lot more, and they're a helluva lot more impressive.

The God Emperor is simply even more powerful a being than they are, the Chaos Gods were created by and are sustained by the emotions and energies of entire galaxy spanning races like the Eldar and the Imperium of Man, by that same token the God Emperor is worshipped by the entirety of the Imperium of Man, this worship of trillions fuels his psychic prowess. He is so powerful that even in death he maintains a telepathic barrier to stop the warp absorbing the known galaxy.

That's just a whole lot of wank. There's no good reason to believe that the Chaos Gods are anything but sub-galactic beings in power.

While on the other hand, Odin has on-panel evidence stating stars and entire galaxies were winking out of existence as a side effect of him fighting another Skyfather.
