Lord Stark
Anakin in all 3 comfortably.

The Ellimist
So Anakin > Vader?

NewGuy01
Anakin>Luke doesn't mean Anakin>Vader.

But yeah, sure.

The Ellimist
Luke and Vader were at least evenly matched in sabers, not sure about Force.

NewGuy01
That's assuming Vader was anywhere near his A-game when he was fighting Luke, which we know he wasn't.

I don't know why people fail to recognize this as the pseudo-Mustafar scenario that it is, tbh.

Rebel95
Pretty even imo

Kurk
Luke has better self-control than Anakin which gives him an edge

I don't think it'd be enough. Anakin isn't as angry as most make him out to be. Luke likely wouldn't push Anakin far enough for it anyways.

This. Anakin>Conflicted Vader

MythLord
Anakin in a good fight.

SunRazer
None of the rounds are comfortable victories, but nevertheless Anakin emerges the victor in all of them.

But Luke was holding back as well. After he kicked Vader and knocked him on his ass he didn't continue forward. He just waited till his father got back up. The comic even notes that if either of them had an advantage over the other by the time of the duel it was Luke.

I don't think it was because of skill. Vader was holding back in that he wasn't fighting full force. Luke was holding back in that he didn't want to fight at all although when Vader attacked him he had visible trouble defending himself.

Also, Snoke makes note of this in the TFA novelization.

Vader stated that he didn't want to kill Luke but he would if he had to. After he was knocked on his ass he was embarrassed and enraged. Luke had visible trouble defending himself? Before or after he knocked Vader to the ground?

Snoke's word is hardly trustworthy as he's going to be tinting what actually happened to encourage Kylo to commit himself more full to the Dark Side. He wasn't even actually present so I'm going to have to put a third person unbiased source that states the advantage had shifted to Luke over Snoke who wasn't even present at the fight.

Well Luke was trained by Yoda who was an Ataru speacialists(to make up for his small stature; also demonstrated in his fights against tyranus(sorry just prefer this to dooku), sidious(preferred to palpatine as well), also episode 1 of Star Wars the clone wars(the one where grievous became a kids dream villain) where he dodged like a pro. Also being trained by ob1 I can make an inference and say(not state) that he had an atleast basic knowledge of form 3(can't remember the name terribly sorry).
Anakin was a djem so master and use Atari to back up his all or nothing style, but that also led to his defeat as he attempted to use The Ataru styles acrobatic physical augmentation to get over ob1. I don't have much knowledge on either but I'd say
Anakin. The reason for him not using form 3 is because he had an all or nothing style but not losing the precision from form 3(result of training with ob1 so he could deflect blaster bolts, but I'm pretty sure form 5 had a blaster deflecting version)
Anakin(he spent years as a jedi(much more than Luke's 5) developing his skills(albeit being lazy in the force department because of his natural power in it),
Overall anakin wins in all 3 category's(the force department is in favor of Luke because he trained his arse off with yoda)
