Atris sweeps, she was the best swordswoman of all the High Council and then only got better with Sith holocrons. Her speedblitzing Traya in Cut Content is a level far beyond anything Aayla has ever done.

She is stated to be the greatest of the Jedi Masters you come across, Kavar a famed Guardian, is stated to be the least skilled of the lot. Add on Sith combat techniques from Atris' Sith Holocron chamber and you have a pretty superbly skilled duelist.

You know, when people ask for a source, they tend to actually want the source, so I'll ask again.

And yes, it is the same. There's one thing with cut content adding on to the game what was left out solely due to time constraints, but the stuff you're referring to dramatically alters the storyline and doesn't fit with the game we ended up getting, hence it never being part of TSLRCM. It's the exact same with the maul shit
