Battle of the speedsters. Who comes out on top?

Miyata is probably faster, but his speed advantage is negated by his weight management. Itagaki's feints could trouble Miyata, since he's a counter-puncher.

However, Miyata is the smarter fighter, and has more experience.

Neither of them are particularly durable, so I don't see it going the distance.

NemeBro
Miyata is explicitly the third best boxer in the series pound for pound, and he has enough feats to say he'd cream Itagaki.

AuraAngel
Randy Boy knocked Itagaki down when they sparred. Miyata beat Randy.

However Miyata rarely fights boxers who are particularly speed while Itagaki has fought two fairly fast boxers. I would not be surprised if Itagaki is truly faster.

He is also plain more frail. Being a counter puncher means Miyata has taken quite a bit more punishment than Itagaki so he should be able to take any hits the latter throws, especially with his own very good speed. Couple that with experience and you have a fairly nice match but Miyata should take it rather solidly.
