Setting is from X-men First Class, when Shaw and his baddies are meeting with the new young mutants and telling them "If you aren't with us, then by definition you are against us...", when suddenly 50 sentinels come flying in from above. Can Shaw defeat them himself? Pretend that either the Sentinels quickly kill everybody else, or everyone else gets a free pass to watch. Shaw starts at the energy level he had after Havok/Alex Summers tried to blast him but Shaw absorbed it instead.

He destroys them all without trying.

The Sentinels will most likely try the same approach they did to Bishop, trying to overload him. Shaw will then propel his/their energy outwards destroying the vast majority of them. The rest will result to physical attacks, which Shaw will still have far enough energy to resist and proceed to utterly crush the sentinels.

Yeah pretty much that.

NO LOM, Sentinels do not win this time!

Yea based on what? Bishop killed a bunch of them and he is not even 1% of what Shaw can do.

The Sentinels adapt to mutants; once they figure Shaw out they'll kill him with no problem...

That was never stated and prof x has never just turned off powers lol. He would have used that constantly then. Shaws ability seemed rather involuntary. Taking control of his mind suddenly stops his powers? Naw

Yes it did stop his powers. Magneto had just brought a metal beam down on his head as forcefully as possible and it did nothing. A slow coin still needs enough energy to get through the same as a fast coin, which is going to just get absorbed. His powers somehow got shut down or he would have been unstoppable.

Shaw goes down the same way future Colossus did. The Sentinels find their energy attacks aren't working, so they attack him physically as a group and tear him apart.

Then maybe he explodes and takes a few more with him.
