LOL people still using Windu's outlier vs Sidious as a bench mark for winning here, when he got stomped whilst using Vaapad by Kar Vastor, who was described as basically impotent compared to Darth Vader in power.

Didn't the fight between him and Vastor happened early in the Clone Wars though? There had to be some improvement between that time and ROTS.

There is absolutely no evidence of that, he had to use his full skill to defeat early Ventress and would've died facing Vastor if not for Depa Billaba. Vastor, who is compared very infavorably to early Darth Vader.

(EDIT: @Merchant) ^^ also Vastor was put far below Vader by a guy who was barely even Force sensitive and was essentially acting on a hunch. Mace Windu thinks Vastor rivals Yoda in raw power.

He genuinely just senses Vader's power when he meets him, and despite being witness to Vastor's utter trashing of Windu, thinks Vastor can't begin to compare to Darth Vader.

Oh yeah, I remember that Vastor was compared to having potential that can rival Yoda and Anakins power, or he already had that power. Forgot how that quote went.

Vastor is compared to Vader by an inept Force user who's sense abilities were essentially skewered.

Nevermind the fact that Windu fought Vastor on a dark side nexus, in early CW when he was still holding back
