Cletus and easily. He stomps physically even though they cant hurt eachother. Eventually carnage will have to use mind control to win.

Clayface was giving the justice League problems, pre flashpoint. Carnage doesn't win easily.

Generally, it takes two or more spider-man level characters in order to beat carnage. Let's not forget that clettus has a massive agility and speed advantage.

Really? He regularly fights batman and hits him. Im pretty sure Carnage will laugh off any physical attacks by Clayface.

Clay face does have that absorption ability where he copies/take your powers. He stole Diana powers from her. He is pretty got darn strong as well. I can see him winning, possibly the majority.

He actually suffocated Diana, iirc. At his peak, Clayface was a beast.

ShadowFyre
That is pretty impressive. Regardless, neither one of these is gonna be put down physically but only Carnage has mind control so either a tie or Carnage.

Here are some scans.

Carnage isn't overpowering cf.

DarkSaint85
Carnage wins.

Supermutant
Batman beating Clayface means nothing here unless Carnage is now using bat-tech like ice capsules and chemical solvents. Clayface only temporary beat pre-52 Diana b/c of her being created from clay, so he re-absorbed her. I don't see how either is putting the other down so this is a stalemate unless Carnage mind controls come into play. I haven't read that much on current Carnage so I don't know how his mind control works.

DarkSaint85
Carnage mind controls him. He could control Cap.

StiltmanFTW
Carnage eats him and then vomits on Golgo.

Its going to be a long mind control, because there is nothing carnage can do to clayface physically.

riv6672
Has CF ever been mind controlled? His mind is mush.

That aside, i agree with Zack & Supermutant.

Goes both ways too.

Carnage was throwing his tendrils over an entire city, and was reforming from missiles exploding in his face at point blank range.

So, all abilities on the table, as its not a strict hth only match, Carnage wins.

Context. She's made of clay.

Goos 📪

Stalemate imo. I dont think the way Carnage mind controls would work on CF (at his peak).

riv6672
No, he can just take missiles to the face. stick out tongue

ShadowFyre
So, we all agree physicals are basically a wash. Carver brought up something I didnt know though. I guess its a split then?

riv6672
I guess.
I still say CF though.

ShadowFyre
Thats fine. How does he win though?

riv6672
Force himself down Carnage's throat, take a look around?
Of the two, Carnage has the more solid form, that might be the key here.

StiltmanFTW
These days, Cletus can regenerate from pretty much anything... he wasn't even done when his head literally blew up sad

riv6672
I guess he's nigh-unstoppable.

StiltmanFTW
He is. And so is Clayface, if we believe Golgo and his - pretty convincing - CV scans. Which gets us a stalemate...

DarkSaint85
Carnage, taking two missiles in the back:

Having his head blown off. Didn't phase him:

If needs be, he can also contain Clayface within his symbiote. He managed to stretch himself over an entire city, even into the sewer system:

Apocalypse built a bomb to destroy the human race. Carnage smothered it, and was blown to pieces. He was back a few issues later:

Not to mention, his 'infection' works by bonding his symbiote to others. If he could possess the Silver Surfer, he can possess Clayface.

riv6672
Maybe on that last (for me). CF isnt as powerful as SS obviously, but he doesnt have to be. His malleable physical structure is nowhere the same thing.
And like i said, Carnage can take missiles to the face. Not denying that.

DarkSaint85
True, but I've not seen Clayface stretch over a city before (top and bottom). he's malleable, yes, but considering Carnage can stretch himself to even go through electronic wires....

riv6672
Good point!
