Wtf is this shit.

Had minecraft since 2014 on my vita, tried to play the new battle minigame, got kicked out due to an error, turned my vita on and back off, then it said I had to purchase the game.

Have you tried removing and reinserting the memory card? That's fixed a lot of Vita issues in the past.
