Battle of the imposters! Gordon obviously has his Bat mech, Superior Spider Man has all of his gear including the mechanical legs, fire webbing, and anything else I maybe forgetting.

Not doubting you, as i'm familiar with the Spotto character.
But i'm unsure what Bordon can do, other than look hella cool.

He was very underwhelming, and most of his adventures involved normal thugs.

When he did go up against super powered foes, it wasn't long before his suit gets trashed.

I did something similar with Powerless Supes armor/brittle bones Thor armor. Misjudged the power levels.
Spotto FTW it is.

I'm not much for scans, I still read comics the old fashioned way but here's what I've dug up

Spidey has a speed edge, but the Bat mech was pretty strong:

I'm missing tons of stuff, but IMO where Gordon really shines was the weaponry. He had a pretty solid Arsenal of guns and missiles, on top of other things like sonic emitters, and an emp burst.

Not as agile as Spidey, but Jim moved pretty well. Plus, thermal weapons

Spock ends this in about 7 seconds due to nature of powers and weaponry. Those missile pods and turrets etc,will be the death of gordon when they are webbed up amd trying to shoot explosives.

Gordon, wont be able to get any hits off against this more ruthless version of Spidey without some knowldege on who hes facing.

Sucks for Gordon, but your scenario seems pretty likely.
