I haven't read, or even skimmed through Crucible; how powerful is he supposed to be?

IIRC he's moving like miles in seconds and doing some really wacky stuff.

In other words, authorial cancer.

The novel is legitimately Christie Golden tier, but even less logical.

But is it enough to overcome the Drew Sue?
