Can Outlander fend off Mustafar Vader's assault and press him with his own skill? Or was Kenobi's defense the only reason he survived?

I think the Outlander might even be able to defeat Anakin actually.

The Outlander not having any of Kenobi's advantages and all of his disadvantages probably would help him beat Vader, yeah.

Depends if this Anakin is hindered.

The Outlander has the raw power and dueling skills to pull it off.

It's not far-fetched to consider the Outlander to be Kenobi+ tier in lightsaber combat, considering you're lauded as the best lightsaber duelist of the order far before KotFE. It's difficult to compare lightsaber skill between eras, though.

Anakin was hindered yes, but Kenobi was dueling exceptionally well compared to what he's normally capable of. They were equals throughout the whole fight until Obi-Wan seized the tactical advantage.

Why? The HoT eclipsed everyone in the order in skill far before becoming the Outlander. The fact he's thrown around often by superior force users and looks like an underdog that's prone to get ragdolled in every boss fight doesn't diminish the merits he has by virtue of skill.

So? Kenobi by TPM was one of the best Jedi in the Order and was roughly equal to one of the best duelist the Order has ever seen.

Add 13 years of improvement to that, 3 of which was the Clone Wars, and he beats the Shitlander

The Outlander appears to be force heavy without any mention of his saber skills so no, he can't. In a force battle, he'd destroy ROTS Vader.

The Outlander defeating Anakin in any sound state of mind is hilarious. Anakin's pretty much a stronger version of him, that's all.
