Well, Anakin is immensely powerful, but he lacks mastery, that's a fact. His combative application of the Force is within Control only, he never demonstrated larger precision and besides Control-arts and basic telekinesis he has nearly no other meaningful skills.

During the Battle of Coruscant, Palpatine ordered Anakin to kill Tyranus, and the young Jedi beheaded the treacherous former Jedi.
