Irrelevant...at standard starting distance Zatanna has a thousand ways to shield herself and crush Canary. If starting close up, Canary cry should be enough to beat Zatanna if it could be done before Zatanna can shield

by the way. did you notice only zatanna is wearing actual fishnets. black canary is wearing pantyhose and fishnets on top of them. anyway black canary has all her weapons.

Logically, it's a speed of sound attack. I'd think a quick cry (Assuming she doesn't need to inhale or anything to trip the attack) beats a single word defense in most cases (Zatanna has to think about it, which could slow her up in a non prep scenario..)

She needs to inhale.

So about 2 seconds, 1 to inhale 1 to scream.

Yah. Haven't seen any scans of her range, but over 0.5km? That's pretty far, especially in an open arena.....
