I say yes, but I know there are people who'll say no.

Emperordmb
Yes but they're outweighed by the Ultimate Limited collector's Gloss Print Edition #2 Version B with forward from Chris Avellone

Fated Xtasy
Joke is about as funny the Bane dies joke lel.

They can be used so long as they don't contradict the entire game or if they aren't contradicted by newer sources

Jmanghan
Will do.

DarthAnt66
Canon.

You're hardly an authority on what is and what isn't funny tbcfh.

Anyway, it's canon, so yes.

/shrug.

Gameplay is non-canon, so obviously a guide to playing a game would fall under the same category. That being said, things like data entries are legitimate if they're included--just like in games.

Yeah, they definitely can be used. Here you go, take this:

Yes and no--it's a bit finicky. Video games are considered C-canon as well, but not everything about them is useable; namely, gameplay isn't canon.

"Anything that doesn't contradict or exist purely for gameplay is C-canon."
--Leeland Chee

Prima guides are the same in principle; it's official material, which means any included databanks and such are legitimate, but anything that exists purely for gameplay is non-canon. Obviously, the strategy guides deal almost exclusively in game mechanics and aren't going to be useable.

SunRazer
Leland Chee did say gameplay mechanics are canon, according to DC. Forgot where he posted the quote though.

Regardless, the Prima Guides' material on anything other than mechanics is definitely legitimate. Anything else is discretionary, though usually dismissed.

DarthAnt66
Everything is canon.
