The Ellimist
Essentially they stop when the combatant would continue to win as number of Siraks approaches infinity, given that:

- Stamina is recharged every minute enough to make up for using standard saver and TK
- No worry of flukes

It's on an open field.

Trash: Darth Bane
1. Obi Wan
2. Marka Ragnos
3. Dooku
4. Galen Marek
5. Vader
6. Krayt
7. Caedus
8. Plagueis
9. Yoda
10. Sidious
11. Luke
12. FotJ Abeloth
13. The Daughter

DarthAnt66
how many do they fight at the same time

The Ellimist
All of them on a field.

Also the Sirak's can't do any power combining.

Azronger
Nobody can beat an infinite amount of people. But I do believe many here could beat any number of Siraks so long as that number is finite, especially with recharging stamina. Starting with Obi-Wan.

The Ellimist
What I mean is as the number approaches infinity, the combatant keeps winning.

Very poor thread.

The Ellimist
It's an important analysis of how much numbers matter in these contests, as that isn't always clear.

Azronger
I have a very clear numbers-matter-little policy. This applies to all characters, not just Sidious and Luke.

The limits of a function are pretty important in mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, etc.; here the function is a boolean of which side wins vs. number of Siraks. thumb up

Well, it appears you a mathematically/scientifically illiterate.....

What part of it do you need clarifying on?

Tondemonai
You need finite numbers.

You need finite numbers.

The idea is that there could be a combatant that, under the given conditions, could beat any finite number of Siraks. That's what "limit as number of Siraks approaches infinity" refers to. It's an elementary math concept...

JKBart
Abeloth and Daughter can beat any number of them possible. Not anybody else. Eventually even Luke would fall when fighting, like, a million.

I'd agree with that.

Even though FOTJ Abeloth isn't quite on that same transcendent level as the Daughter, she's high enough that she can body snatch Siraks and continually increase in power to the point where she can kill Sirak's indefinitely and eventually surpass the Daughter in the course of that battle.

What's "approaching infinity"?

The Ellimist

The number of Sirak's.

SunRazer
Yes, but how do you define "approaching infinity"? There's no numerical value that approaches infinity.

The Ellimist
It's a limit.

Another way to think of it is whether there is any number of Sirak's that would be sufficient to win.

SunRazer
Obi-Wan will tire inevitably.
