you could only choose between one of these trilogies (sometimes more have been made but only including 3)... which would you pick:

1. LOTR (1-3)
2. The Hobbit (1-3)
3. Star Wars (1-3)
4. Star Wars (4-6)
5. Back to the Future (1-3)
6. Godfather (1-3)
7. Matrix (1-3)
8. Indiana Jones (1-3)
9. Terminator (1-3)
10. Batman (Nolan 1-3)
11. Pirates of the Caribbean (1-3)
12. Iron Man (1-3)
13. Captain America (1-3)

If possible, rank all of the above in order as well.

If you were stuck on a desert island then PotC would just be ****ing depressing.

I doesn't really have to be literal. I'm just saying, if you could only watch one of these movies, and no other, for the rest of your life which would it be.

marwash22
Cap.

I'd watch all three once, then kill myself via falling coconut to the head.

Probably something like this:

1. LotR (1-3)
2. Star Wars (4-6)
3. Batman (Nolan 1-3)
4. Star Wars (1-3)
5. Indiana Jones (1-3)
6. Godfather (1-3)
7. Captain America (1-3)
8. Terminator (1-3)
9. Matrix (1-3)
10. The Hobbit (1-3)
11. Pirates of the Caribbean (1-3)
12. Iron Man (1-3)
13. Back to the Future (1-3)

All I meant was that being stuck on a desert island and having movies that end with characters being stuck on desert islands might not be conducive to the upkeep of your morale 😂

1. LotR (1-3)
2. Batman (Nolan 1-3)
3. Back to the Future (1-3)
4. Indiana Jones (1-3)
5. Matrix (1-3)
6. Godfather (1-3)
7. Star Wars (4-6)
8. Captain America (1-3)
9. Terminator (1-3)
10. The Hobbit (1-3)
11. Pirates of the Caribbean (1-3)
12. Iron Man (1-3)
13. Star Wars (1-3)

Really, after Terminator, they could be in about any order.

I will say that if I could choose three movies from a franchise that occur back-to-back-to-back, I would go Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall for Bond.

Also, initial three Bourne movies would be pretty high.

tkitna
Star Wars

Appreciate it man. I should say I ranked them not in terms of quality alone but rather a combo of quality and rewatchability. LotR, Indy, and Back to the Future may not stack up to, say, Godfather 1 and 2, but seeing Indy punch out Nazis is way more entertaining the 500th time around compared to listening to Marlon Brando everyday.

TheVaultDweller
It's funny. The LotR trilogy would be around the top of my list, but the Hobbit trilogy would be well near the bottom.

With the Matrix you can design any environment and scenario.

Pretty much this. thumb up It's a toss up between LOTR and SW, but I like the LOTR universe a little more.
