It is fun to watch such trailers. I think of Romancing the Stone's trailer where Danny DeVito's character is on the phone is his office or apartment talking about Jack Colton and Joan Wilder while clips of the movie overlap with it. Hilariously bad, but a lot of fun to see how far they've come from that to Inception "blaaaaaaaaah" dramatic delivery.
Impediment
The six minute long trailer for Psycho is my all time favorite. Hitchcock has such a way with presentation.
