They were little more than a light year from Thanos.

What was the time taken? Because Azrael crossed 3.5billion miles in a nanosecond - that's 3.5x 10^18 miles per second.

So to cross that one light year, Azrael would have done it in 0.31 seconds.

However long it takes someone to punch someone else. I said a second to be generous and to make the head math easier.

Edit* Azreal technically didn't say the trip took a nanosecond but rather a nano second later to finish the journey. At trans-lightspeeds a nano second covers billions of miles

Here's the kicker. He had the reflexes and power to stop in time while traveling over 18 trillion times the speed of light.

In other words, he knew when to start slowing down. Therefore he traveled far above the 18 trillion ftl figure (since that is only average speed).
