Cage vs Smith from the Matrix. First movie feats only. Can Luke take down Smith? They fight outside Matrix, but Smith has same powers in first movie except body jumping.

KingD19
Cage could beat him down if he can land a hit. Smith can't really hurt him imo.

Surtur
If we assume Smith is a bullet timer like the other agents then Cage will have trouble hitting him.

BruceSkywalker
not sure cage can even touch him

FrothByte
Yeah Smith is way too fast for Cage. Problem is, will Smith break his hands when he tries to hit Cage?

Agent Smith was punching through thick concrete effortlessly...

Agent Smith is far more skilled than Luke (Agents can call upon whatever martial art they want on demand)...

Agent Smith is far faster than Luke...

Add that all up and Smith destroys Luke 10/10...

We should be able to scale Agents off of each other here, IMO, as they were all basically just copies of the same program at that point, so the chances of there being much deviation in power/ability is likely very small.

We literally never saw agents going beyond their basic programming in terms of martial skill. They were extremely fast and strong, but they never showed any amazing martial proficiency.

Smith wins simply due to the fact that as a Program, he is programmed with martial arts skills from many sources. Luke Cage, while a master of martial arts, simply can't beat a "computer". Like with Chess masters vs computers.

Now Cage may be much stronger and a little more durable, but Smith I think will not let him get many hits.

Of course, Smith from the First Movie is rather weak. However, the OP didn't specify whether they could use weapons or not. If they could, Smith has a solid advantage there.

End result:

H2H = tie.
Weapons = Smith wins.

KingD19
What? Smith gonna shoot the bulletproof guy?

And eventually it's Luke's fight to lose. One hit is all he needs to knock Smith off his game.

Smith has punched through solid concrete/marble like it was tissue paper. He's definitely hurting Cage.

Martian_mind
Smith. A skilled combatant who actually makes use of their superior speed, and has more than enough strength to put Cage down.

NemeBro
Smith has a really bad habit of just taking free hits from opponents he is much quicker than, and is frankly not a good fighter at all. The Agents were all strength, speed, and toughness.

juggerman
Smith

Zack M
Agent Smith.

nfactor1995
Smith eventually beats Luke
