Orion is physically superior to BB, but can he survive bb's planet shattering notes long enough to get in close enough for the kill?.........all powers are in play with standard versions and fight takes place on the moon.

Bb scream can tear apart space and time but the astro force is greater so orion

Thats an inyetesting match up, as both wield pretty cool energy powers. Not sure who'd win. A quick draw scenario most likely.

I believe that Orion takes a majority.

I'm leaning that way, too; with energy attacks (which could go either way) off the table, he also has a big strength and durability advantage.

I can't understand how this is a fight unless we're saying Black Bolt won't use his full power. He has taken out Hulk and Gladiator with a whisper. I don't see how Orion would survive Black Bolt just saying "Hi" in a normal voice.

BB also does have other energy powers of his own too, but those won't be needed.

Black Bolt fairly easily. You all continuously ignore his combat prowess.

BB also does have other energy powers of his own too, but those won't be needed. you need to remember that Orion has the ability to use boom tubes (so he could hit by from behind) impressive energy projection feats, and a motherbox to heal him. He's no pushover and black bolt has allowed his enemies to get withing striking distance before and his go to attack isn't usually his voice. However, I agree with you. Once black bolt stops holding back, he takes this.

BB can't take a full on Astro Force attack, either.

The difference here, is Orion can shield himself from Black Bolts attack. It's basically like pitting a knight in full armor against a mostly naked barbarian.. Not a fair fight at all.

Last I checked(and granted someone could have posted an example since I last read it) I gave Orion an actual example of speed blitzing and nobody gave an example of Wonder Woman speed blitzing in my Orion vs WW topic. And it's particularly bad for you and those who argued for WW because her having about 5 times as many appearances as Orion means each speed blitz holds more weight.

Well yeah, he's definitely not just at normal human speeds, but Black Bolt himself also has some level of enhanced reaction time and all he has to do is speak.

Two characters fighting at super speed? Well technically not a speed blitz, but if you actually know the characters you wouldn't have argued against it. Your ignorance of the characters and mental gymnastic to dismiss evidence doesn't change the comics.

If you applied the same standards to Wonder Woman that you do Orion, since you couldn't even give ONE example for WW speed blitzing and one example for Orion is equal to around 5 for her, you'd be arguing Orion blitzes here.

His voice isn't something that Orion is going to be able to stop, and he certainly isn't going to be punching in anything on the Mother Box in time to evade the coma coming his way. Motherbox isn't just a PC that he has to type commands into, it is sentient and can act on it's own.

I know that neither he or Mother Box is going to be able to anticipate BB speaking a sentence. It doesn't matter how much you want to dress it up. Orion would be hit. Like enough of the crap already, Orion isn't perfect, no character is. He's not invincible.

Who said Orion was invincible? This match up just happens to pit my favorite DC character against my favorite Marvel character. But by your raging comments, I can tell you just simply don't like Orion. Fine, if you do, fine if you don't. But in my honest, and UNBIASED opinion, Orion has too many options, both offensive and defensive. Orion wins.
