Who wins?

cdtm
Tie/stalemate.

Once you get up the food chain to "unravel everything, and nobody can stop them", who wins is pretty much a guess.

Joker likely erases him.

Mr Master
Owen makes him part of his deck of cards. stoned

Galan007
Owen.

Joker was a complete n00b with Mxy's powers, and really couldn't control them. He'd need every bit of that know-how to contend with current Owen.

cdtm
The thing is, Owen needed Doom, and later Reed, to actually fix reality.

All things considered, that doesn't paint him as much of an expert. Mxy was able to fix up Joker's damage all by himself (With Spectre checking his work.)

XSUPREMEXSKILLZ
Owen.

^he seemed like some kind of expert if he could shove an omniverse into a box and kill Lifebringer Galactus with a thought. mmm

cdtm
Joker handled the Quintessance and Spectre as casually.

That box was a holographic representation. Regardless, needing someone else to do your reality warping for you ≠ expert.

carver9
Where was it said that he needed someone else to reality warp. Does anyone have scans of this?

Galan007
That wasn't stated anywhere.

Tbh, it didn't seem like Owen cared one way or another what happened to reality. Giving the power to Doom... Then later to Reed... Just seemed like Owen was doing it for his own personal amusement. Nothing more.

Hell, Owen said that the reason he neutered Doom's power was because he didn't bring him something to eat. laughing out loud

t0sh
MM wins. He was stated to be a Omniversal level buster.

Owen did, in fact, tell Doom he'd be "useless" once his insanity returned. After their little history lesson in New Avengers.

That'z the reason he went to Doom in the first place. He's so crazy, he can't even think enough to reality warp himself a fraggin burger. wink

AlmightyKfish
I mean, Owen said he'd be ineffectual but technically he's been in that fractured state in every appearance he's ever had, as the killing of his alternate selves started straight after the accident that 'activated' him.

Which does explain his fluctuating showings/mental state over the years, but even throughout he's still been able to warp reality.

But all that aside, it's irrelevant as the whole epilogue to Secret Wars mentioned how they were 'fixing' MM. And he's clearly able to warp reality etc when he talks to Galactus.

Aside from that, he also displayed a degree of omniscience, as he continuously prophesized events before they happened... From within his limbo realm.

'insane' is a relative term, after all. wink
