Yeah, I came in expecting the OP to include some sort of science-based prep scenario. Pete would still struggle with Atom's base powers, but at least he'd have a shot at coming up with something. As-is, this fight would never be in doubt.

Atom steps on Spidey and squashes him like a bug.
