Who did you vote for in the 2016 Presidential Election (US)?

Type the name of the 2016 presidential candidate that you voted for.

If you were not eligible to vote or could not vote (not in the US), type the name of the person you would have voted for if you had the power.

I'll start with the next post.

Gary Johnson

I voted for ol' Gary.

This is a great thread. That way, I can just quote myself the next time someone falsely accuses me of voting for Hillary or Trump.

Henry_Pym
Obviously Trump, come at me.

XD

Flyattractor
I vote that you be falsely accused as much as possible.

Silent Master
I supported Sanders

Surtur
Donald J. Trump thumb up

Couldn't vote. Wouldn't want to anyway. Shit choice, IMO.

Wife voted Clinton.

Flyattractor
Voting for Prez was low on my List of Voting Priorities for Election day. Mainly went to vote on the important local stuff, almost wrote in my vote for who I really wanted but I said FUHH IT and held my nose and voted for Trump. Mainly to just screw over The HillDawg.

BackFire
Bernie in the primaries and Clinton in the general.

snowdragon
Gary Johnson

Though as the campaign progressed he started to sound a bit off kilter.

Henry_Pym
I don't want to flame, but for the Johnson guys

How bad was the Syria gaff to you guys?

I mean Trump had a similar on with the "nuclear triangle" but as someone who served in the military I had never heard it called that.

Stigma
I would have voted for Trump.

As for my reasoning, here are several issues that I agree with him on:

- illegal aliens rampaging in the US and commiting crimes
- severe approach towards Radical Islamic Terrorism and the refusal to take unchecked migrants
- terrible foreign policy conduted in the last years by the US that needs change
- dismantling of the PC and its very dicatorial effect on culture and society at large
- some of his economic ideas
- his seemingly nationalistic (yes, it is a positve word once you remove socialistic and imperialistic spin on this ideology) approach towards the US

There are others issues, but nah.

Also, I can see that Trump could be considered as a "lesser evil" by some voters, or that some simply gave him their trust due to his proposal for a new opening in American politics.

No candidate can know details on everything: there are just too many things to know.

I'm more interested in the concepts. This is why I didn't give a shit about the supposed "idiocy" that Sarah Palin had...or George Bush. I care more about the concepts of their policies.

I'm sure I could grill every single KMC member on this board, in a room, and get them with a seemingly important gotcha question to create a KMC Gaffs Newsreel. I could do the same with every presidential candidate, too.

And someone could get me on something because I'm horribly shitty with names.

I'd be more interested in picking apart his "gold standard" idea than forgetting about world leaders he respects or cities he forgot the names of, if we are going to grill Johnson.

carthage
Neither of them

I will say that after a certain amount of time I would probably say just about anything to get out of that room...

It's like the Bermuda Triangle, but with nuclear bombs.

WHAT IS ALEPPO?

Lord Lucien
As a Canadian who couldn't vote in the U.S. election, I don't appreciate that you're making me feel excluded and didn't consider my feelings before opening this thread.

Impediment
Trump.

I even posted who I voted for on my Facebook page and three people unfriended me.

Beniboybling

Lol, that sucks, but then you find out who your true friends are. Of course if you unfriended people for voting Hilary I'm sure they'd be calling you a sexist pig.

Just know you aren't alone: a bunch of stories like yours took place after the election and around the holidays. People being unfriended on facebook, families telling certain relatives who voted Trump not to come to Thanksgiving, etc.

Funny how some call Trump a man baby, and yet some people act like children when they find out someone they know voted Trump.

Beniboybling
nah its called natural selection. best that some ppl are cast out from society.

I agree, but bro how would we be able to cast out all liberals from society though?

Especially the liberals in Hollywood. They are mostly disconnected from reality, but they do have loads of cash.

Maybe if we passed a bathroom bill like the one in North Carolina, but made it apply to all states? But no, if Trump winning the election didn't send them running than nothing will.

Where is Bugs Bunny when you need him? He could do to California what he did to Florida.

I don't use drugs for that, but where is the logic in living with heroin and cocaine addicts?

I suppose it would make sense if I used heroin or cocaine, but otherwise? No.
