Yes, it is from the Animatrix story 'The Kid'

Basically he was someone Neo wanted to free whom the Agents got to first,. But such was his faith in Neo, he was able to escape from the Matrix by denying reality as he killed himself. Much to Neo's surprise he was free.

So the kid thinks Neo saved him, but as far as Neo is concerned the kid saved himself.

ohhhhhh..maybe the kid's the one then................

The kid will role an important character in M3 there has to be a reason for he to survived

or he could be there to prove if u know about th matrix u don't want to be there any longer and u are willing to take your life
