I would be interested in finding out what people believe (religion wise). I myself am quite a devout Christian, but my family are all very different. My dad is a Pagan, my brother's agnostic and my mum isn't really associated with any one religion.

I'm a Christian (Orthodox)... I think. I haven't quite decided yet. There is a God who made all these but I haven't cleared things up in my mind yet...
If there is a God, who created him? Did he exist forever? How can that be possible.
IMO if we start wondering things like that we'll go nuts.

I had to do a report on the Vikings for Social Studies/History class. I did it from the point of view of the non-Vikings. They were quite terrified in my short report. You know, church raid, dead monks, burning fields, blood everywhere...

did you happen to mention what great explorers , great traders and excellent settelers they were too. Cause that was actually what they did best, the raids were more like spare time activities.

You should have let me know of this report and I would given you some info that would have blowed your teachers mind. It would have been an A? material for sure

Im catholic, so is all my family while i dont go to church frequently i still believe in "GOD" i also practice Santeria(something like vodoo but deals mostly with saints and the dead)

Well Santeria(meaning the way of the saints) has elements of the Roman Catholicism in its worship and it is a syncretistic religion

So it would be frowned on by the Devout Catholics as it is a deviation or mix of sorts. The dealing with the dead is the part they would most object too, I remember how much they church leaders used to from upon Mediums and psychics because it was against all that was christian.

i think the buddhists theory of suffering makes a lot of sense, more than the christians theory (even though i am a christian), the christian theory sounds like it's just covering up for the fact no one knows the answer whereas the buddhist one makes sense.
