Considering that Rakata Prime was officially canonized, as well as the fact that the Rakatans played such a significant role in SWTOR and KOTOR, do you guys think it will have any sort of significance in the new Star Wars canon?

If so, what do you think this significance will entail? If not, why not?

I think they'll be brought back when KOTOR is inevitably re-canonized.

I don't think it will be re-canonized. I think the story group is pretty clear on that. However, Rakatans may just make a regular appearance as an obscure species minus the history like the Chiss.

The Merchant
I believe Snoke will be a Rakatan.
