Darth Bane (Path of Destruction) vs Ven Zallow (Deceived). Fight takes place in the Jedi Temple and it is to the death.
Who wins and why?
NewGuy01
Ehh, probably Bane yeah.
Deronn_solo
Zallow death caused a galaxy wide disturbance in the Force, and his superior to the likes of Darach who was fending off two powerful and skilled Sith Lords simultaneously.
He could win this.
MythLord
You can make a case for Bane takin' it.

Huh? Quote?
Anyway, stomping Sirak is honestly better than what Ven has duelingwise, tbh. Holistically Ven could win, tho.
carthage
Sirak was the best ot of a bunch of Trainees, obviously that's a better feat than holding you're own against the Sith Empire's greatest swordsman
Ursumeles
It actually is, kek.
Like I said, holistically Kao should sh!t on Sirak tho.
carthage
Show me anything Sirak has done in feats that places him above Malgus in lightsaber skill

There's nothing to suggest that Sirak ranks above even Return Malgus, as even as an apprentice he held that accolade.

Sirak has better feats/scaling than Return Malgus tbh. (If we seperate Enraged Malgus from the normal one, at least).
Holistically, Malgus should be better.
Deronn_solo
Urs, you're making a fool of yourself here, lmao.

Like I said, I only talk about feats her, lmao.
Obviously Kao would rape Sirak holistically.
Petrus
Zallow's pretty good, but I'm not sure about this one. Probably Bane, tho.
carthage
Bane couldn't fry Hetton,
MythLord
Hetton > Zallow, huehuehue.

Banes lightning has literally charred bodies black. Dooku couldn't do this so Bane stomps
carthage
Hetton was a hardly trained force sensitive who dodged his lightning.
Any padawan could use a lightsaber to catch Bane's lightning, Bane however has never won a single fight without a nexus or orbalisks

This was further confirmed in Deceived:
Ursumeles
Thanks.
Especially the first is nice
Deronn_solo
In short,
Zallow being better than Kao - some skilled enough to fend off a notable Sith Inquisitor in Vindican, who was mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Naga Sadow - and Darth Malgus someone who was already and one of the greatest warriors in the empire, simultaneously - is more impressive than anything we've seen from Bane.
Causing a galaxy wide disturbance upon his death shows he's more than powerful enough to compete with Dessel in that regard.
Ven wins.
TheMuser
I am contractually obligated to say Zallow.....But in whatever form of reality that exists Bane wins.
carthage
Bane has never won a fight without aid of a nexus or orbalisks.
Petrus
...And that argument has been retconned by DMB for some time now.
Ursumeles
Carthage is right.
TheMuser
Technically hes not....But then again....pretty close to.
Tondemonai
Sallow in a great fight

I'm not so sure that indicates an actual disturbance in the Force. Aryn Leneer was the only one that felt the disturbance, and that makes sense because she was his padawan. No other Jedi felt Zallow's death. So there obviously wasn't any real disturbance except to Aryn herself.
TenebrousWay
Syo felt that too, although not with the same intensity as Aryn, which is understandable.

No. He felt the disturbance and, apparently, just didn't know exactly what that meant.
darthbane77
Oh, my mistake then.

Plus, Zallow's entry in Malgus' TOR timeline, makes it clear the Republic - not just a few - knew of the betrayal because of the disturbance.

It makes more impressive the fact the force signature of pre-amp Deceived Malgus matched Zallow's plus a dozen Jedi Knights that were there with him.
