It was called "Battle of the Five armies", wasn't it? So Dwaves, Humans, and Elves make three, and the Orcs are a fourth.. Who's the fifth army again?

Anyways, who wins if those three armies from LOTR: Hobbit actually fought to the last man?

Elves. Dwarves were out numbered, humans were out gunned, and orcs were out classed.

Thought so. Elves seemed pretty much super human, while Dwarves were just better armed humans in the movies.

Even if all 3 armies were equally numbered and were allowed to be in their best armor and weaponry, the elves still win. They're better archers than either humans or dwarves, they have supernatural agility and reflexes, their melee seems higher than humans or dwarves, plus they're much longer lived which means more experience.

Elves in LOTR lore and other fantasy books like Eragon are too OP. I prefer how elves are portrayed in Forgotten Realms or Dragonlance where they still have their enhanced agility, speed and skill but they're not as big or strong as humans and not as tough as dwarves.

The fifth army is the wolves.

"So began a battle that none had expected; and it was called the Battle of Five Armies, and it was very terrible. Upon one side were the Goblins and the Wild Wolves, and upon the other were Elves and Men and Dwarves."

2 Orc armies, 1 human army, 1 Elf army, and 1 dwarf army

They are definitely super human. Legolas made everyone in the fellowship besides Gandalf look bad in comparison to him.

Do you believe it's close between let's say the elves and dwarves ?
