Who wins

Vision. He has many ways of hurting Jax, but Vision can just phase through his flames, or go so dense he just tanks it.

If FS is anywhere near his comic self, he can just phase through Vision's attacks.

If he can make contact for long enough, firestorm could turn vision into water

He hasn't shown the ability to transmute people yet, and even if he were able to alter Vision, he wouldn't have time. He'd have a face full of laser, or a chest full of...fist. Or Vision would just beat him stupid. Like...just no.

He's not though. Like at all. He mainly just flies around and shoots fireballs. Vision on the other hand can casually phase through attacks, while Firestorm has never done it.

Does vision count as people? Vision is a powerhouse but he isn't particularly quick. He might have a harder time tagging firestorm than you think.

At best, Firestorm can just delay the inevitable here. He could probably annoy Vision a bit though. He did show the ability to throw up heat shields, and his evil counterpart in Rip's mind seemed immune to energy attacks from the gun Jax was using, when the same weapon affected evil Sara just fine. But it won't get him a win. He has transmuted some exotic things at this point (Savage's magic space rock, and that giant ball thing when they fought the aliens), but the only thing he has transmuted quickly was a rifle, which is a far simpler item. And he is pretty much defenseless while he does it.

Doubtful. Vision is one of the most durable people in Marvel simply by being made of vibranium.

But phasing is on the molecular level

Yes. And he is still made of Vibranium. So when he unphases, you have a nearly indestructible metal body that also absorbs basically all violent force against it...and a hot human body.

He phased through an Iron Legion soldier pretty easily, tearing it apart with his hands. Why would he have an issue with Firestorm?

Besides, he could still just punch him to KO/death. He's at least Thor level when it comes to strength. Or use his laser which is very powerful and very accurate.
