Are you saying you envisioned Atom doing so by punching Spidey?

Back in the day, the Atom actually used his fists (and his weight control) quite a lot. Not current on him now, is he more a scientist than a fighter?

^^^he's always been both (even did a stint as a sword wielding barbarian).
My point was, DS' post made it seem thats all he was going to do here, and that it wouldnt be enough.
And given that he also said Atom would handily beat Spider-man, it made me wonder if DS thought Atom was simply going to punch out Spider-man (a character easily as/more formidable than anyone in the OP) in the other thread.
Not sure how he's gauging all this.

Punching Spidey works. Even if its punching inside him.

Punching Colossus would.....work less. His internals' are just as durable.
