Dennis Prager is a fu#king tool.

I saw a YouTube ad of his thoughts on supposed "objective morality" and God. He's an unthoughtful idiot. But he does have a very nice, authoritative voice. Maybe he is God? eek!

The guy is pro Israel, so he isn't a genius. But I see the left as wanting a utopia (free stuff, socialism, communism) and the right as realists.

Interesting video. I agreed with his views on how many people need to fix their own character before fixing society. He does make ridiculous sweeping generalisations about both the left and right though. He talked about "large" government being something of the left yet there are left wing governments with lower spending by GDP than the US. He talks about the right being about not micro-managing people's lives yet its the right who want to legislate regarding who you can and can't marry or what you can and can't forget with your own body. He says the left are the ones who deny painful realities when the right deny climate change. He says Africa and south America have suffered under corrupt left governments while ignoring the fact that it was the US in many cases propping up those corrupt dictators in order to get access to their natural resources. They've propped up dictators in Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Honduras, el Salvador, Dominican republic, Brazil, Equador, Uruguay, Argentina, Nicaragua, Haiti, Panama, Chile, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Turkey, Thailand, Uganda, Chad, Morocco, Djibouti and many many more.

He also seems very ignorant of corporatocracies which would would result in companies like Coca Cola actually busting in your door and demanding your money.

We have very near those situations, now. At the extremes, a corporatocracy looks no different than a big government.

I would gladly give Coca Cola my money, no need to demand it. I've lived in a Coca Cola household my entire life.

I am the only one that lives in my house. I don't drink sodas...except Zero Monsters and Polar Ice Rockstars. Better than coffee.

Edit - There was a point to that. Yeah...drink O'd'house. Everyone keeps telling me these energy drinks are bad for me. Just terrible for me. And they are all fat. no expression

thumb up Well said.

Precisely why divisive partisan politics is completely useless. It's peddled in the media to keep us fighting each other instead of bringing down the corrupt politicians. "United We Stand," pfft..

As opposed to morons here who say the left are superior and the right are bad? Which is an equally stupid thing to say, right?
